About the lint problem w/my contacts...?

i think i dry my hands with the wrong kind of towel... i read alot of those insert/removal stuff from different contacts websites and the instructions are always to wash your hands and dry them with a lint free towel... how do i know if my towel is lint free? how do i get lint off my towel?
