After an accident is it ever the same?

Ok I lost control of my civic coming down the exit ramp into the freeway. What made me loose it was loose dirt on the road do to construction. Well it goes like this 30 miles coming down my *** end looses traction end swings to the left. Which I try to control and do in a way.... I saved me and my pengers from going sideways into incoming traffic and by doing this hit the barrior to the right. I didnt care about the civic at all i cared for the 15 and 16 years old in the car. Well yesterday night, my friend which has the same car and same color anly built engine says here man test drive it. I tell him no bc im still thinking about the accident.... He says dont worry man just be carefull it swayes a little(race susp). Well a built engine in a EG YEA its going to haul ***. So I take it for a spin, but when i hit VTEC the car sways violently left and right and theres a incoming car coming. I get flashbacks and start to panich, but control it. Why isnt the same after an accident????
